  2. From 1951 to 1957 she starred with her
  3. husband, Cuban bandleader Desi Arnaz, in I
  4. Love Lucy, the first US television show
  5. filmed before an audience. It was followed by
  6. The Lucy Show 1962-68 and Here's Lucy
  7. 1968-74. She began her film career as a bit
  8. player 1933, and appeared in dozens of movies
  9. over the next few years, including Room
  10. Service 1938 (with the Marx Brothers) and
  11. Fancy Pants 1950 (with Bob Hope). Her TV
  12. success limited her film output after 1950;
  13. her later films include Mame 1974. The
  14. television series are still transmitted in
  15. many countries.
